ON-THE-JOB TRAININGS (OJT)
Employer Based Training (EBT)
Employer-Based Training (EBT) Programs open doors for individuals seeking additional job training, providing them with the chance to acquire skills related to a specific job. Employers may qualify for reimbursement through On-The-Job Training, Customized Training, or Work Experience Programs. Contact your local Work Connection, Inc., and ask to speak with the Business Service Representative in your area.
WORKFORCE INNOVATION & OPPORTUNITY ACT (WIOA)

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) allocates funds to support various programs offered by Work Connection, Inc. This significant piece of legislation is strategically crafted to enhance and fortify the public workforce system in America. WIOA aims to create avenues for all Americans, including young adults and individuals facing employment barriers, to secure high-quality job opportunities. Additionally, WIOA plays a crucial role in assisting employers in recruiting and retaining top-tier workers for their companies.
WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM (WEP)

Tailored for this purpose, our Workforce Experience Program offers young individuals the opportunity to acquire practical, real-world experience by working in one of our offices. Eligibility extends to students residing in the same parish as the office, and the program is financially supported through the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act.

Veterans can access job assistance, referrals for employment and training, and assistance in job placement through our programs.
